Finished this project for Eelco, he was the lucky winner of the Big Twin bikeshow give-away. He’s building a custom Shovel and asked me to upholster the seat pan he made and make a matching pad for his rear fender. So here it is, 3cm thick seat with black full grain leather and blue double diamonds. Pillion pad is completely made of leather top and cushion is the same leather as the seat and the bottom of the pad is 3mm veg tanned leather to give it some more stiffness and strength.
First things first, happy 2020! To start thing off right I want to share this little beauty. Guzzi cafe racer seat made made with smooth and brushed leather. Black double diamonds, the Italian colours stitched around the edge and laser engraved the Guzzi logo to make it even more special.

Maybe you’ve seen my post stitching the hexagon pattern of this seat last week and now it’s time to show the end result for this custom Kawa Z1300 seat. All custom, shaped the foam and added a layer of gel. After that the hard part, from here on out there are no mistakes allowed. Stitched the hexagon pattern and cut out the pattern. Laser engraved the back section with ‘kawasaki z1300’, stitched up the parts and riveted it all to the seat pan.
Biltwell Thinline seat pan with custom foam and custom cover from Alcantara and double white top stitch, going on a Sportster.
Original Krauser MKM 1000 seat, not a lot of these bikes were built, about 230. Had a look at some photos of the original bike and seat and tried to make it like the original seat. Always good fun to work on a special project. Read more about the bike here; https://silodrome.com/krauser-mkm-1000/
Honda Rebel seat ready, laser engraved logo stitched on with precision. I put a lot of effort in these seats and make sure all stitches and seams are as straight as possible. I also make sure the pattern on the seat is symmetrical and evenly spaced, and where lines and/or seams come together they line up. When you appreciate these kind of details and looking for quality you’re at the right address.
Here’s another BMW K-series seat I made. Seat pan made right here from fibre glass/poly resin. Added and shaped foam and made a cover from full grain leather. And this one also has an integrated brake/rear light.
